Prof. Zhiqiang Ma

Biography: Professor Zhiqiang Ma, a Chinese educational technology scholar, is currently
a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Humanities of Jiangnan University, the
deputy director of the Jiangsu "Internet + Education" Base, a Jiangsu Provincial Social Science
Outstanding Young Researcher, and a visiting scholar at Nanyang Technological University in
Singapore. He also serves as a member of the Artificial Intelligence Committee of the China
Education Technology Association, the working secretary of the National Education Technology
Professional Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, an expert of the National
Education Informatization Typical Cases Working Group of the Ministry of Education, and a member
of the Expert Group for the Jiangsu Province's Education Informatization "14th Five-Year Plan".
His research focuses on educational digitalization, computer-supported collaborative learning,
and intelligent educational evaluation. He has been the principal investigator of 9 national and
provincial-level projects, including the general project of the National Social Science
Foundation of China, titled "Research on Intelligent Analysis and Feedback of Collaborative
Knowledge Construction Conversations". He has published over 60 papers in SSCI/CSSCI journals
such as "Interactive Learning Environments", and has authored 5 monographs including
"Multidimensional Characterization of Social Cognitive Interaction". He has received 12 awards,
including the Young Award for the Ninth National University Scientific Research Outstanding
Achievements by the Ministry of Education and the Second Prize for Outstanding Achievements in
Philosophy and Social Sciences of Jiangsu Province. In 2023, he proposed the research framework
of "Human-Computer Conversation Collaborative Learning", systematically explaining the reshaping
effect of intelligent agent technology on collaborative learning. In 2025, at the Eighth
"Comprehensive University Education Discipline Construction and Development Forum", Professor Ma
Zhiqiang pointed out that the research platform is the "structural node" of the educational
discipline ecosystem, and the core task lies in resource aggregation and innovative
collaboration.
Prof. Ming Liu
Southwest University, China
Biography: Brief Introduction: Prof. Ming Liu, have been engaged in innovative research
and practical application of educational technology through interdisciplinary approaches,
exploring the combination of artificial intelligence technology and learning science theories to
support personalized learning and large-scale teaching services. I have been the principal
investigator of over 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China,
the Youth Foundation Project of China, the Research Start-up Fund Project of the Ministry of
Education, and the Social Science Planning Project of Chongqing. I have also participated in the
completion of 5 projects, such as the Australian Science Council Exploration Project (ARC), the
Ministry of Education Project (OLT), the Research Cooperation Center Project (CRC), and the
Google Global Research Project. I have published over 40 papers, including 20 SSCI papers, 10
SCI papers, and 3 CSSCI papers. Among them, there are 5 papers in the first zone of the Chinese
Academy of Sciences, including Internet and Higher Education, Computers in Human Behavior,
Pattern Recognition, Information Sciences, and papers from international top conferences on
smart education, such as AIED 2019, ITS 2013, LaK 20, ICALT 14, and GCCCE 2018. I have served as
the guest editor of the Applied Science international SCI journal and have been the chair or
committee member of many international conferences and seminars on artificial intelligence and
education, such as LAK 2019, ALASI 2018, BESC 2019, EDM 2012, etc.
